Amy and her husband Gary embarked on their dream journey when they constructed their lakeside sanctuary on Lake Blue Ridge in 2011, finally transitioning to full-time residents in 2016. Amy’s professional journey has been as diverse and vibrant as her personal life. With a robust career spanning 21 years in marketing within the travel industry. However, prior to her corporate endeavors, Amy ventured into entrepreneurship with her own catering business and then moved to Spain for eight enriching years before returning to her roots in Atlanta in 2000.

When the world was struck by the upheaval of Covid, Amy seized the opportunity to pivot, embracing early retirement from the travel industry. Returning to her culinary roots, she rekindled her passion for cooking and embarked on a new venture as a personal chef in the picturesque Blue Ridge area. Amidst her culinary pursuits, Amy finds joy and balance in recreational activities, indulging in rounds of pickleball, trying to perfect her golf swing, and cherishing precious moments with her five children and three grandchildren.

Amy is excited to be a part of Impact100 and being a part of an amazing group of women committed to making a difference in Fannin County!
