Apply for a Grant – What to Expect

Impact100 Fannin County’s grant cycle occurs one time per calendar year. The 2024 grant cycle will begin in June 2024. Our grant cycle includes a multi-step grant application process. The field of applicants narrows at each step, and applicants will be notified of their status at each stage. Key dates and activities are outlined below.  Before starting the application process, please review the Grant Eligibility Requirements found online under the Grants tab on the website www.impact100fannin.org

Grant Application Process and Key Dates

Step 1: Submit a Letter of Intent (LOI)

  • All interested non-profits must submit a (LOI). For your reference, Impact100 Fannin County has prepared a list of required information for completing the LOI. Please see the LOI Template included in the packet and available online at our website (referenced above). The fully completed LOI must be received no later than June 20, 2024.
  • Organizations are allowed to submit only one Grant Application per year and must select a Focus Area when completing the LOI to verify they fit within our funding criteria. Focus Area descriptions can be found in Grant Eligibility Requirements on our website.
  • Following the review of the LOIs, Impact100 Fannin County will select the applicants to submit a Grant Application. Applicants will be notified as to whether they have been selected to complete the Grant Application. Notifications will occur on July 8, 2024.

 
Step 2: Submit a Grant Application (Selected Applicants Only)

  • Impact100 Fannin County will provide the Grant Application Template to submit online. All Grant Applications must be received no later than August 5, 2024, via the online process.
  • Impact100 Fannin County will acknowledge each Grant Application received.
  • The Impact100 Fannin County Grant Review Committee will review the Grant Applications and, following review, semi-finalists will be notified on September 3, 2024, that they have been selected for in-person presentations, videos, and Q&A with Impact100 Membership. Videos are due on September 13, 2024.

 
Step 3: Final Decision Process (Finalists Only)

  • Membership will vote to determine Grant Awards on October 8, 2024.  A public announcement will be made on October 22, 2024, at our Evening of Impact celebration.
  • Terms and conditions of the distribution of the Impact100 Fannin County Grant will be set forth in a Grant Agreement, which must be fully executed prior to Grant Award distribution in 2025.


Key Reminders:

Applying non-profits must meet all Eligibility Requirements.  Applications must be complete. Any part of the Grant Application that fails to include all required items may be deemed incomplete and could result in disqualification in the year’s grant cycle.  All due dates must be met to be considered eligible. Completed Grant Application materials (LOI or Grant Application) must be submitted via our online application found at www.impact100fannin.org
