Open Arms was Granted $100,000 and CASA and Marine Detachment were Granted $25,000 each, from Impact100 Fannin member donations!


Great News! Thank you to Impact100 Fannin Members!

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations and immense gratitude to the extraordinary members of Impact100 Fannin! Your collective efforts have already had a substantial positive impact in our community, and we are overjoyed to share some remarkable highlights from our recent Evening of Impact event held on October 30th at the Blue Ridge Arts Center.

During this memorable evening, we had the honor of awarding a trio of grants that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the organizations and individuals they support. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Lake Blue Ridge Marine Detachment were each granted $25,000, empowering them to continue their vital work. Furthermore, we are delighted to announce that The Open Arms Home for Children received our first ever $100,000 grant! We know these grants will provide meaningful support as the nonprofits continue their vital work in our community.

In expressing our appreciation, President Revonda Rich remarked, “We are deeply grateful for the generosity and support of our community and members. We look forward to making an impact working with other local nonprofits. Your support has propelled us to this point, and it is truly exciting to share that, in just our first two years, we have already awarded $264,000 in grants. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making this accomplishment possible. Your exceptional generosity is acknowledged and deeply appreciated. We can’t wait to see what we will accomplish next year!”


Membership News – Celebrating Our Members and Looking Ahead to 2024!

As we look forward to 2024 and a new grant process, the Impact100 Fannin Board would like to “SHOUT OUT” a huge THANK YOU to our present members! YOU are the backbone of this organization, and the reason we have had suce a positive impact on this community!

Impact100 Fannin has “impacted” the nonprofits in this community in a big way! Having been a nonprofit for less than 2 years, we have already granted $264,000.00 to 5 well-deserving nonprofits in Fannin County! This group of 100+ women of all ages, stages of life, income levels, and backgrounds has come together to make an impact through membership funded grants! Our mission: to unite and empower women who then work to provide grants that assist nonprofits to meet their goals!

As we gear up for the new year, we are in the process of planning exciting events for Impact100 Fannin. Present members, we encourage you to renew during the membership drive (January 1 to May 31) and share the opportunity with potential members. Keep an eye on your emails in January for the Evite to our first event of the year—a fantastic kick-off to 2024. We hope to see all of you there to celebrate our past and future successes!

Event News

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 2023 Hosts

We extend our deepest gratitude to Hook and Eye, Blue Jeans Pizza, Bar 21, Bear Claw Vineyard, The Blue Ridge Mountain Art Association, Vertigo, and The Tavern at Old Toccoa Farm and The Dogwood for their generous hospitality in hosting our events. Their unwavering support has played an instrumental role in crafting unforgettable experiences for our cherished members.

The Dogwood Gathering
We held our first Breakfast/Brunch Gathering at The Dogwood on November 14th.  We were delighted to have over 30 Impact100 ladies attend our event!  The Big Foot biscuits seemed to be a real hit with the ladies and were large enough to share.  In the coming year, we will attempt to hold events at varying times of the day to accommodate as many ladies’ schedules as possible.  Stay tuned in 2024 for not only our regular meetings, but also the gatherings we will have throughout the year.

Celebrating the Holidays at Light Up Blue Ridge Christmas Parade

Our board and committee members were thrilled to be a part of this year’s Light up Blue Ridge Parade! Our member Elves passed out Christmas Cheer and candy to the little ones. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our vibrant community and share in the spirit of the holidays.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars! Our upcoming Christmas party will be December 19th at Old Toccoa Farms Tavern from 5pm to 7pm. This will be exclusive to our valued members. You should have already received your Evite invitation. Please RSVP if you haven’t already by December 15th.
